STORMONT STUDIOS The Devas Club is very proud to have opened a professional-standard
recording studio. A celebration of the opening took place before Christmas.
Club members can now take part in the following activities in the
studios: 1. 10-week courses in music production, largely focusing on Logic Pro 7.
Details as outlined in document ii. 2. Instrumental tuition – we can source qualified tutors to coach in
popular instruments i.e. drums, keyboards, guitar, and voice. 3. Summer schools and workshops in school holidays to provide members
and non - members with intensive courses in production. 4. Inspirational master classes in production and performance, bringing
established artists (musicians, DJ’s and producers) to Devas. Charlie
Willcocks and Matt Nicholson are both professionals in the music industry and
it is through their hard work, experience and enthusiasm that that it has
been possible to get this exciting idea into a reality. Charlie and Matt will
have overall responsibility for the course and events run in the studio. We
must express our huge thanks to the Worshipful Company of Grocers whose very
generous donation enabled us to build the studio and equip it. PROFESSIONAL
HIRE Stormont Studios (www.stormontstudios.co.uk) are available for professional hire. All proceeds go direct to the Devas
Club to support its activities. The Studios are available for hire during the
day. |
